Best Cupcakes Ever!!
I had the THRILL of winning a dozen cupcakes as a giveaway on the blog of our fabulously talented vendor friends, Gladys and Celia, of Junebug Furniture and Design a few weeks ago. I was extra excited because I had consumed quite a few of these amazing cupcakes at the April Funky Junk Show where Judy and her lovely business partner were also vendors.
These are the most marvelous cupcakes. My personal favorites are the salty caramel ones that Judy was so gracious as to make for me. My family goes crazy for anything caramel and they were thoroughly enjoyed this holiday weekend. The cake is moist and delicious...the frosting light and heavenly. They are truly the BEST CUPCAKES I have ever had...hands down!! Lucky for Spokane, Judy is opening a shop downtown and soon everyone will be able sample her beautiful and delicious creations.
When I went to go pick up my cupcakes on Saturday this sweet and generous lady had me sampling all kinds of FABULOUS, DELECTABLE, and BEAUTIFUL treats. She then brought a plate of goodies out to my husband and daughter who were in the car. Judy, you are the best!!
New favorite treat? The Mayan cake ball. Chocolate and cayenne. Amazing!!
Thank You to Gladys and Celia!! Thank You to Judy of Frosting!! Our Memorial Day Weekend was even sweeter thanks to you wonderful ladies.
Go to Facebook immediately and "like" Frosting. You will want to know immediately when Judy's shop opens it's doors!!

Two Women Art and Antiques Sale
This weekend was the Two Women Art and Antiques Barn Bazaar in Spangle, WA hosted by Dianna and Fielding Chelf. They are a mother and daughter who have gone into business together. How great is that? We love family businesses!! Their sale is on their family property; a charming farm with darling outbuildings in a picturesque rural setting...yet it is only 15 minutes from my front door. I love it!!
Set-up day was beautiful. Sunny and warm. Did I just really type those words regarding Spokane? Hard to believe I know. It felt so good!!
We had a special little helper on set-up day; my daughter Bryn. Apparently she was on break. :)
We managed to avoid the rain that was forecast for the weekend. It would rain during the night and early in the morning both days but miraculously went away during the show. Hooray!!
Here are some pictures:
Our 4th of July vignette...doesn't it make you excited for summer celebrations? We are counting down the days until we can kick back and relax at the lake.
Thanks so much to all of you who came out, shopped and said hello. A big thank you to all of our wonderful customers and vendor friends who contributed to making it such an enjoyable and memorable weekend. Much thanks to Fielding and Dianna for such a beautiful and inspiring setting. We are very appreciative.
Sisters Creed has a bit of a break until the next Funky Junk Show which will be over Labor Day Weekend in Sandpoint, Idaho. Get it on your calendars now!! You will not want to miss it. Until then we are looking forward to a creative summer full of treasures, sales, projects, travel, family and fun.
See you soon!!
Love,
Kristin (and Stacey and Victoria)
