Three Christmas Shows!!
Yes, you read that right! We love Christmas so much that Sisters Creed will be at... not one...not two...but three... Christmas shows this year!! We are so excited. Usually we travel to Kalispell, MT to participate in the Vintage Whites Christmas Market now renamed The Market Beautiful. We love that show and have been going there for the past four years. Unfortunately, we aren't able to go this year so we are staying a little closer to home and doing three shows here.
Our first show will be in gorgeous Bonners Ferry, Idaho...
We love Bonners Ferry so much!! We have a long family history in this town. My mom was raised in Bonners Ferry and lived in the same town with her grandparents and many of her aunts and uncles who were all in the logging and saw mill industry. It is the most charming small town that you will ever see in the most beautiful part of North Idaho. It is the perfect setting for an old-fashioned Christmas. We can't wait to come up and participate in the Vintage Christmas Market. Special Guests Celeste Shaw and Ki Naussauer of Flea Market Style Magazine will be there!! It is going to be such a lovely Christmas Market!! Also, this will be the one Christmas show that all three of us will be at this year. We have a big triple booth space that we plan to fill to the brim with gorgeous Christmas decor. We hope to see you there!!
Next up... Kristin and Stacey will divide and conquer and participate in two different Christmas shows on the same weekend.
Kristin will be representing Sisters Creed at the Pickin' Christmas Vintage Show & Artisan Market in Post Falls, Idaho on December 2 & 3. It is Saturday from 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. We are so excited!! This will be our first "Pickin'" show. It is put on by Brenda Buckingham of Past Blessings Farm. She is so sweet and we look forward to working with her!! It should be so much fun!! We have heard rave reviews about this show!! Come and check it out.
That same Saturday... December 2nd...Stacey will be in Palouse, WA (her hometown) participating in a Christmas show at the Palouse Grange Hall. This show is put on by the darling Heidi Kite of Open Eye Antiques. This little Christmas show has a special place in our hearts. This is where Sisters Creed got its start. That was our first "official" show. Heidi has always been so sweet and encouraging and so have our very first customers...the awesome people of Palouse!! This show is one day only. It goes from 9am to 3pm.
We are so excited that the holidays are right around the corner!! We would love for you to join us at any of these fun Christmas shows!!

Sisters Creed

The Mad Hatter Vintage Flea Market 2017
The Mad Hatter Vintage Flea Market
This year I represented Sisters Creed at the Mad Hatter Vintage Flea Market in Spokane, WA. We love this charming and magical show so much!! We weren't able to be there last year and I was so happy to be back. This delightful show is put on by the super talented Gladys Hanning of Junebug Furniture and Design fame and her daughter Celia. It was held at the Five Mile Prairie Grange. Gladys and Celia go all out decorating for this beautiful show. The grange was completely transformed into autumnal splendor as were all the white tents with beautiful twinkle lights outside. It is truly an extraordinary event. There is always fabulous food and music. This year in particular...Robby French... a local musician was amazing. He was right across from my tent! Sweet Frostings provided the delicious food. So many vendor friends were at this show and it was just a spectacular and inspiring weekend. This show is a Friday night and Saturday show. Friday night is always my favorite. I love the seeing all the tents aglow.
Since neither my mom nor my sister were able to be at this show I got to have some special helpers. My husband, Tyler, and our oldest daughter, Reilly, helped man the booth at the show. They were great!! This business is always a true family production. My husband, son, and daughters are always there to lug furniture and bins and to help set up and tear down. They are the best!!
Here are some pictures of my booth from the show:
By Day....
And...By Night:
A big thanks to my fantastic helpers!! My son was there too but left before this picture was taken. I am grateful for my family and I so appreciate their constant love and support!!
Thank you so much to the lovely women of Junebug Furniture and Design...Gladys and Celia. So much time, work, and love went into this event!! It was felt by all!! This was a wonderful show!! I was grateful to be a part of it. THANK YOU to all who came and shopped. We appreciate you all so very much!!

Funky Junk 2017
Funky Junk 2017
This year's theme for Funky Junk was Prospecting For Treasure. It celebrated and honored the rich mining history of our area. Miss Funky Junk herself, Jennifer Wood, and her husband, Nathan, did a great job of transforming the Bonner County Fairgrounds into a Mining Town.
My mom wasn't able to fully participate in the show this year. Although she did come and set up her part of the booth but she wasn't able to work at the show this time. Maybe next year. That left me and Stacey in charge once again. :)
This is another show that we just love to participate in. It is always such a fun way to spend Labor Day weekend. It is held at the charming Bonner County Fairgrounds in the gorgeous resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. We just love coming and being a part of this fun event every year!! We always have such a great time!!
Hanging out with some of our favorite vendors and friends: Kathy and Jennifer Walker of Unexpected Necessities, Rebecca Armstrong of Peace Within, and of course Funky Junk Jennifer!!
Here are a few pictures of our booth:
The Funky Junk Antiques Show was as fabulous as ever and so are all of you who came and shopped!! THANK YOU!! We loved meeting you and sharing our mutual love of all things vintage. We especially love it when you find that special something that brings back a sweet memory to you and when you share that treasured memory with us. What an honor!! We love that!! Thank you for your constant support and encouragement. You make this business a wonderful one to be a part of.
Also a HUGE thank you to our amazing friend Jennifer Wood and her cute family. So much hard work and love goes into this show!! We appreciate all of the hours and long days and nights that went into planning and hosting this awesome show. We love you!!

Farm Chicks 2017
Farm Chicks 2017
Farm Chicks is always our biggest show of the year!! This is such an amazing event and one that we plan for and prepare for the entire year. It feels almost like Christmas morning on set-up day as we are reunited with fellow curators for another year. The creativity and talent is over the top. We have as much fun oohhhing and aaahhhing over the amazing items in our fellow curators booths as in our own. It is a blast!!
This is the one show...so far this year...that all three of us were able to work at together. It was nice to have all three members of Sisters Creed present! We had a big four booth space in a square configuration again this year. This works well for us at big shows like Farm Chicks. We were in Bay 3 again in the same location that we were in last year. It was great!
Here are some pictures of our booth:
Farm Chicks was utterly fantastic!! It always is. It is a one-of-a-kind show. We are so appreciative of and thankful for Serena Thompson and all of her hard work!! This show is a labor of love and it shows. There is just so much joy in this event...in the curators...in the customers...it makes it a truly magical show. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who came and shopped and who come year after year. Your love and support mean the world to us. We are already counting down the days until next year!!

Rebel Junk Vintage Market & The Vintage Faire 2017
Rebel Junk Vintage Market & The Vintage Faire 2017
Wow! I have really gotten behind on this blog. Time to play some serious catch up. Although if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram you are caught up. :) But I love to document on this blog too.
Our first show of 2017 was The Rebel Junk Market in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. We had a great time!! This is our sweet and talented friend Dixie's amazing show. She hosts Rebel Junk Vintage Markets in several states now. They are always a lot of fun to be a part of!! It is always exciting when show season comes around again. We were so glad to be back in the swing of things!!
Stacey and I did Rebel Junk together. Our mom, Victoria, wasn't able to participate. We had two booth spaces and had sort of an unintentional light/dark vibe going on. I love all the white and creams and my booth the was "light" side. Stacey had more dark items in her booth and was the "dark" side. Our checkout was in the middle. We think it turned out pretty cool.
Here was my side. The light side. I am all about the matchy-matchy neutrals:
Here was Stacey's side. Her side was the dark. She is usually more about color and mixes it up a lot.
Here are both sides together. We really liked the juxtaposition at this show. It added variety and interest to our booth. My mom, when she participates, usually does a mixture of both.
This show was extra fun because so many of our friends were also vendors. It was great to see them and also all of our wonderful customers. Many of whom have become dear friends as well. We love to see you, get to know you, hear your stories, and share in our mutual love of all things vintage. Thanks for coming!!
Next up: The Vintage Faire
This is a fantastic show that is held in Omak, WA. This year Stacey represented Sisters Creed at The Vintage Faire as neither my mom nor myself were able to attend. Stacey had rave reviews about this fun show!! My mom and I were sad to have missed it but so glad that Stacey was able to participate. This year has been a divide and conquer kind of year for Sisters Creed. My mom hasn't been able to be involved in very many shows this year for a variety of reasons so Stacey and I have done most of them ourselves and a few on our own. It's been an interesting year!!
We had two fantastic spring shows and stayed busy getting ready for our summer shows. Vintage show season keeps us hopping but we sure love it!! Thank you to all of our amazing customers who make this business such a pleasure. We love you!!

Stacey brought quite a bit of rusty and industrial type items to this show. She loves them! She had some cool stainless steel tables and locker room benches from Washington State University. They went fast!
Stacey had a great show and loved seeing so many of you!! Thanks for coming out and shopping!!
