Farm Chicks 2019

Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair was without a doubt amazing this year!! Just like every year. This show is so fantastic!! Every year I am in awe. It is so worth the months of time, effort, prep, and hard work that go into it. All of the curators do such a fantastic job and I am always so inspired. The customers who come to the show are the kindest and sweetest and most appreciative crowd. They share their lives and stories with us. We have become dear friends with so many customers and fellow curators over the years. It is wonderful the joy that this event brings!!

This year the theme was flowers and I thought that Serena did such an amazing job with her entry display!! It was pretty spectacular!! Everyone wanted a picture with it!!

This was the last Farm Chicks that our mom, Victoria, will be participating in...actually the very last show for that matter. She is retiring from doing shows but she will keep her little booth space at Junk on 4th in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho and I'm sure that you will still see her at all of the vintage shows only now as a shopper! :)

Here is a picture of our large four booth space in a big square configuration:

We had such a great and successful show!! Thank you to all who came and shopped! We appreciate each and every one of you!! The incredible and loyal shoppers make this show what it is along with the hard work, dedication, and love of the show's creator Serena Thompson. Her vision is what makes this show the place to be every single year. Thank you Serena!! You can read more about The Farm Chicks HERE.

Every curator in this show puts their whole heart into preparing for this beautiful event. Months and months go into preparing their booths and merchandise and it shows. It is a labor of love for all involved! We leave inspired every year by our fellow curators and dear friends.

It is also a family event. Our extended family pitches in to help us with set up and tear down for this show. Husbands, kids, sisters, brothers, even boyfriends pitch in to help out.

I'm going to miss this kid! My son Kameron has been such a great Sisters Creed Roadie over the years! He just graduated from high school and will be setting out on an LDS Mission and with that and college in his future this will most likely be his last Farm Chicks show for awhile. Kameron has grown up lugging furniture, setting up, tearing down, and even delivering furniture. He has been a great asset to the Sisters Creed team and especially to his mom!! Thanks Kam!!

Here are a few more cute helpers who came to assist with tear down after the show. Left to right are: Stacey's daughter, River, my youngest daughter, Bryn, and our niece Elle. They are also great shoppers and have vendors they are devoted to and come with spending money!!

I didn't get pictures of all of our other terrific helpers. A big shout out to my husband, Tyler, who helps with set up and tear down. He stays at the show all day and brings furniture in and carries furniture out for customers and often even delivers it to their homes. Thanks to my children: Reilly, Kameron, Ailey, and Bryn...and Reilly's boyfriend Hunter. Thanks to Stacey's husband, John, and daughter River and thank you to our sister Kelley and her daughter Elle. They help to make this show run smoothly for us.

We had a wonderful show and are always delighted to be a part of such a special and joy filled event! I already can't wait until next year!! Thank you for your love and support!!

Sincerely,

Sisters Creed
Kristin

My next show will be Funky Junk in Sandpoint, Idaho over Labor Day Weekend! Hope to see you there!!
