Sisters Creed

 Victoria, Stacey and Kristin

What is Sisters Creed?

Sisters Creed was founded in 2006 by sisters Kristin, Stacey, and our mom Victoria. Another sister, Kelley, helps out now and then. For years we have thrifted, crafted, and created with our mom. We decided why not take all that creativity and fun and start a family business that combines our love for thrifting, antiquing, junking, crafting, sewing and creating...with the added bonus of doing all of it together. Each of us has our own unique style and Sisters Creed incorporates all of these styles perfectly.

Why Sisters Creed?

We chose the name to reflect our passion for breathing new life into old objects while celebrating our unique styles. We come from a long line of antiques collectors and junk collectors. We have always enjoyed taking found objects and revamping them in new and exciting ways. We love being creative and frugal at the same time. We sisters especially honed these "creative" skills as poor college students and newlyweds as we would happily take all of our mom's old cast-offs (furniture/household goods) and give them new life in our homes and apartments. We also enjoy "swapping" items between sisters.

What is the Sisters Creed?

Reuse*Revitalize*Revamp

(That means..."Hey? You're getting rid of that? Give it to me. With a fresh coat of paint that would look FABULOUS in MY house!!")

Sisters Creed objects aren't fussy...they are funky. They're not verifiable antiques with a pedigree. They are vintage, quirky, creative, crafty items. Items that have a history and that have been revamped into something unique. Sisters Creed is an authentic way of living and decorating! It's creative recycling!!

This blog will allow all of us to contribute our thoughts, ideas, finds, and creativity and share them with you. We will also be able to update you on the sales that we are participating in.  Happy Reading!!
